Live monitoring of fusarium stem base diseases of wheat (2005)

As part of the Defra CropMonitor project, which involves live monitoring of a network of winter wheat trials across the country, trial plots were assessed for the presence of Fusarium Ear Blight pathogens at GS 31/32 and at GS75. Isolations were made from plants showing symptoms to identify which species of fusarium were involved.
